The Holiday Inn Maingate East is the newest hotel on 192 in Kissimmee, FL. The owners of the Holiday Inn Maingate East purchased an old Travelodge property in 2006 and quickly started renovating it. The contruction was finished in October of 2007 and after a 20 million dollar renovation, the Orlando Holiday is abosolutely AWESOME!
The hotel boasts 446 rooms located in two twin towers. It is a full service interior corridor hotel complete with a nice restaurant (Promenade Food Court) which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a Pizza Hut in the restaurant for dine-in or take to the room service. The Legend Sports Lounge features the finest cocktailes for the vacationer to unwind.

Resort is located less than 2.5 miles to Disney World.Keeping with the traditions of Holiday Inns, kids 12 and under staying with their parents are able to eat FREE. "This saves the family a lot of money over a longer stay" said General Manager Ed Kortum. Also, the kids love the large game room.
For parents with little tikes, there are FREE cribs available by request. The rooms are outfitted with Internet access, coffee makers, extra towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, clock radios and for a small up charge, rollaway beds are provided.
Everyone needs to take a dip in the pool whether it be January or the hot days of July. The pool is heated and there is also a separate children's pool for the little one who wants to take a dip. There is also a spa in the pool area.
If you are a golfer, the 18-hole championship Falcon's Fire golf club is located no more than a driver and a 4 iron away from the hotel. This course is pristine. It ranks in the top 30 of all courses in the state of Florida. If you don't want to bring your clubs, you can rent them here.
This is one of the few NEW properties that offer pet friendly rooms. If you are bringing a small pet, there is a $30 pet fee per day but that is quite reasonable considering the prices at the kennel in Disney World.
